In the Holy Qur'an in the Chapter of the Cave, a story is related of how some youths -took to a Cave for refuge and there God preserved them for 300 solar year. And also the known Christian legend of the 'Sleepers of Ephesus' they all hint to this reality of deep state.

In the book, 'The Oak Island Mystery,' by Lionel & Patricia Fanthrope, the following passage is found on page 170:

"Ancient Jewish legends tell of Sarah (Abraham's sister-wife) encountering the sleeping Hermes Trismesgistus (alias Thoth? alias Melchizedek?) In a cavern during the long journeys which she and Abraham undertook. The legend says that she disturbed the fabulous Emerald Tablets and that the sleeper began to stir. Sarah fled from the cave without them."

From Manly P.Hall's 'Secret Teachings of All Ages' that reads:

"When the body of Hermes was interred in the Valley of Ebron (or Hebron), the divine Emerald was buried with it. Many centuries afterward the Emerald was discovered - according to one version, by an Arabian initiate; according to another, by Alexander the Great, King of Macedon. By means of the powerful Emerald, upon which were the mysterious inscriptions of the Thrice Great Hermes - thirteen sentences in all - Alexander conquered all the then known world."

Josephus tells us that in his day many monuments of Abraham were at Hebron and that six furlongs from the town grew a very large terebinth which was said to have stood there since the foundation of the world.
